Welcome our 2026-2027 Student Cohort Fellow

The Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology (CSINT) is thrilled to welcome our newest cohort of Student Fellows for the 2026–27 academic year.

Selected through a competitive application process, this year’s Fellows bring a diverse range of interests and expertise to CSINT, united by a shared curiosity about how emerging technologies are reshaping security, politics, and society. Over the coming year, they will work alongside CSINT faculty, researchers, and partners on some of the most pressing questions at the intersection of technology and global affairs.

Please join us in welcoming our 2026–27 CSINT Fellows:

Hilary Obarski
Cameron Nichols
Mariana Perdomo Puente
Dalila Dizdarevic
Alex Caldeira
Ana Kilbourn

The CSINT Fellows Program gives American University students an opportunity to move beyond the classroom and engage directly with real-world technology policy challenges. Fellows contribute to collaborative research, develop their own writing and publications, participate in workshops and events, and engage with researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and other leaders working across cybersecurity and emerging technology.

Throughout the year, our Fellows will explore questions ranging from cybersecurity and geopolitical competition to democracy, AI governance, and frontier technologies. They will also have opportunities to publish their own work through CSINT and contribute to the Center’s broader research and policy initiatives.

We are excited to see the ideas, research, and conversations this cohort brings to CSINT. Welcome to the team!
